Peyton’s health condition takes a turn for the worse. She loses blood and faints, and is rushed into surgery. One day before her delivery, Peyton and Lucas are given a surprise visit from a friend, and the couple welcomes a daughter, Sawyer Brooke Scott, into the family. Victoria gives Brooke the company back after finally understanding her daughter’s pain, and urges her to do one special thing. The Chiefs releases Nathan, but he faces surprising news. Dan faces death, and visits someone from his past to give his apologies. Dan is spared by the person, despite requesting to be killed. Lucas’ and Peyton leave Tree Hill permanently in their newly repaired Comet with their baby daughter.
